Our work begins with listening. Every appointment starts with understanding your needs, your preferences, and how you want to feel in what you wear. We don’t believe in “close enough.” We believe in making something you’ll love to wear, again and again.

Do you only tailor women’s clothing?

Yes. Our focus is exclusively on women’s garments. This allows us to specialise in the unique requirements of women’s tailoring. By working solely in this area, we’re able to refine every aspect of the process to better suit the needs of our clients.

Why do you work by appointment only?

We work by appointment so each client can receive our full attention without distractions. Tailoring is a personal process. It requires time to understand your preferences, review design options, and take measurements. Working this way also ensures privacy and comfort, which many of our clients value. How many fittings will I need?

The number of fittings depends on the type and complexity of the garment. Simpler garments might require only one fitting before final adjustments, while more intricate garments, like evening gowns or suits, may involve two or three. We aim to get the fit as close to perfect as possible from the start, so each fitting moves you closer to the finished result without unnecessary delays.

Can you work from a photo or reference garment?

Absolutely. If you have a photograph, sketch, or an existing garment you love, we can use it as inspiration. From there, we’ll discuss any changes you’d like. This may be to improve fit, adjust proportions, or adapt the design for different fabrics. Our goal is to create something uniquely yours, even if it begins with an existing idea.

What types of fabrics do you offer?

We carry a curated selection of high-quality fabrics including silks, linens, wools, cottons, and blends. If you have a particular fabric in mind, we may be able to source it for you. Our fabric selection process is part of your consultation, ensuring the fabric is suitable for the intended design.

How long does the tailoring process take?

Turnaround time depends on the garment type and the amount of detail required. Simpler garments may be ready in a day or two, while more complex or heavily detailed garments may require four days or more. We’ll confirm your timeline during the consultation so you know exactly when to expect your clothes to be ready. If you have a deadline, such as a wedding or special event, please let us know when booking your appointment so we can plan accordingly.
